Angels of Healing Energy

As the days grow shorter, the evenings arrive a little earlier and the house can feel a little quieter. For some of us, those still hours are peaceful. For others, they can feel lonely, or a bit heavy, especially when someone we love is far away or the world feels unsettled.

These are lovely moments to call on Archangel Michael.

Michael is often known as the archangel of protection and courage. Many people picture him with a sword of light and a deep blue or royal purple glow around him. I like to think of him simply as a steady, loving presence who is always willing to stand beside us when we ask.

A Simple Evening Practice

You don’t need anything special for this. Find a comfortable chair, or sit on the edge of your bed before sleep.

Take three slow breaths. With each one, let your shoulders soften a little more.

Then say quietly, or in your heart:

“Archangel Michael, please stay close to me tonight. Surround me, my loved ones and my home with your blue light of protection. Help me feel safe, calm and cared for.”

Now imagine a soft cobalt blue light gently wrapping around you like a warm cloak. Let it extend around your home, and then reach out to anyone you are missing, wherever they are tonight. Rest in that feeling for a few minutes.

Noticing His Presence

After asking, many people notice small signs. You might feel a gentle warmth around your shoulders, see flashes of blue, or simply feel more at ease. Sometimes the sign is just a calmer heart and an easier night’s rest. Every sign is welcome, and so is a quiet knowing that you have been heard.

A Gentle Reminder

Asking for help is never a sign of weakness. The angels are always ready to support us, but they wait for our invitation. Each evening this week, you might try saying Michael’s name before bed and noticing how it feels to be held in that circle of light.

You are never truly alone. Love surrounds you, even on the quietest nights.
